What is The Cult Film Collective?
Dedicated to championing the projection and preservation of 35mm and 16mm film, the Cult Film Collective presents regular screenings of 16mm and 35mm films at the Trylon Cinema, The Eagles and secret spaces around town - many sourced from private collections or archives. The Cult Film Collective was started in the fall of 2015 as a way to approach the difficulties of obtaining exhibition rights and rare 35mm film prints, by bonding together and using (aka losing) our own money to make it happen. We have since presented over 10 years of extremely rare screenings of films, including the programming and obtaining of prints for the All-Night Horrorthon and Action Extravaganza fundraisers for our home base, the Trylon Cinema.

The Collective’s board of directors includes John Moret, Olga Tchepikova-Treon, Andrew Madetzke and Matthew Tchepikova-Treon.

What should I know about the Cult Film Collective Membership program?
Memberships are monthly subscriptions. In exchange for a monthly fee, members gain invites to exclusive screenings, meetups and a monthly newsletter.

Do you accept donations?
Yes. We have limited space for film prints, but are constantly expanding our ability to save and preserve film, which we then curate into shows for our members and the public.
